How we set a rate
The market
We take the average price across three large European exchanges, every thirty seconds.
Our margin
The fee for the way you trade goes on top, and that is all we earn.
Held for you
Once you say yes, the rate is fixed: ten minutes at the counter, thirty seconds on an OTC call.

Questions about rates
Why do you buy lower than you sell?
The gap (the spread) covers our fee both ways. It is shown in the table, so you can compare it with anyone else's.
Is the network fee extra?
No. We pay the network fee for sending coins to you. When you sell, you pay the fee for sending to us, as with any wallet.
Can I lock a rate by phone?
Only at the OTC desk, for 30 seconds on the call. At the counter the rate holds for ten minutes once you are in.
